Going for Gold!

We’re delighted to report we have been awarded a second RoSPA Gold Award for achievements in Health and Safety. Many thanks to our SHEQ team and to Rebecca Lewis for leading our entry, which was noted by the judging panel to be a strong entry for the size of our business.

It is testament to our strong communication and working processes that we have once again received a Gold Award in this internationally-recognised award scheme.”

Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards scheme is the longest-running of its kind in the UK, but it receives entries from organisations around the world, making it one of the most sought-after global accolades in health and safety.

“RoSPA wants every employee, wherever they are, to work safe in the knowledge that they will be going home unharmed and healthy at the end of every day. The RoSPA Award winners are vital to help achieve this goal, as by entering they are driving up standards and setting new benchmarks for organisations everywhere. Currently, around 7million people are directly impacted by the RoSPA Awards, but the scheme’s influence is even wider.”

The majority of awards are non-competitive and mark achievement at merit, bronze, silver and gold levels. Gold medals, president’s awards, orders of distinction and the Patron’s Award are presented to organisations sustaining the high standards of the gold level over consecutive years.

Competitive awards go to the best entries in 24 industry sectors including construction, healthcare, transport and logistics, engineering, manufacturing and education.

2019 RoSPA Gold Award recognises our continued commitment to the highest health and safety standards

We have achieved a Gold in the 2019 RoSPA Health and Safety awards in recognition of our health and safety practices and achievements.

The internationally-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards are the longest running industry awards scheme in the UK and attract entries from organisations around the world. They recognise achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

“We are delighted to have achieved the RoSPA Gold Award, which builds on last years’ Silver Award,” said Rebecca Lewis, Green Frog Connect’s Head of SHEQ. “For the second year running, we have been acknowledged as having the highest standards of health and safety management across all of our projects. This reflects the efforts of everyone in the Green Frog Connect team and my thanks goes to everyone for working tirelessly to ensure the safety of our colleagues, contractors and clients.”

The company will be presented with the award at a ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Thursday, June 6, 2019. “In only our second year of our awards journey, I am delighted that the business has managed to achieve the Gold standard award. The connection to 100 years of RoSPA history sets these awards apart from all others,” said Richard Shearer, Green Frog Connect’s Managing Director. “Participating and winning this award has helped us stay focused in our efforts in the areas of health and safety and will spur us on to do even better.

Green Frog Connect awarded RoSPA Silver Award for health and safety practices and achievements

Green Frog Connect, the UK’s leading ICP and EPC for embedded power generation, has been granted a prestigious award in recognition of its health and safety practices and achievements.

Achieving a Silver in the internationally-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, the company will be presented with the award at a ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Thursday, July 5, 2018.

The RoSPA Awards scheme receives entries from organisations around the world and recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

“We are delighted to have achieved the RoSPA Silver Award, particularly as this is the first year that we have entered the scheme,” said Rebecca Lewis, Green Frog Connect’s Head of SHEQ. “This award demonstrates our commitment to achieving the highest standards of health and safety management across all of our projects, helping to confirm our place as a leading ICP and EPC within the industry.
