We have achieved a Gold in the 2019 RoSPA Health and Safety awards in recognition of our health and safety practices and achievements.
The internationally-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards are the longest running industry awards scheme in the UK and attract entries from organisations around the world. They recognise achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
“We are delighted to have achieved the RoSPA Gold Award, which builds on last years’ Silver Award,” said Rebecca Lewis, Green Frog Connect’s Head of SHEQ. “For the second year running, we have been acknowledged as having the highest standards of health and safety management across all of our projects. This reflects the efforts of everyone in the Green Frog Connect team and my thanks goes to everyone for working tirelessly to ensure the safety of our colleagues, contractors and clients.”
The company will be presented with the award at a ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Thursday, June 6, 2019. “In only our second year of our awards journey, I am delighted that the business has managed to achieve the Gold standard award. The connection to 100 years of RoSPA history sets these awards apart from all others,” said Richard Shearer, Green Frog Connect’s Managing Director. “Participating and winning this award has helped us stay focused in our efforts in the areas of health and safety and will spur us on to do even better.
“The construction workplace is a potentially high-risk environment. The best motivation to every individual is to know that the company places high importance on the well-being and safety of our staff. We want every one of our workers to be able to go back safely from work at the end of each day and to be able to continue to provide for their families. Being awarded a RoSPA Gold conveys a very strong message of the organisation’s commitment to safety. Green Frog Connect will continue to lead and influence in creating a better and safer workplace for everyone to work in.”
Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards have become the key fixture in the health and safety calendar with new sponsors and new awards this year including the Leisure Safety Awards, the Safe@Work, Safe@Home Award and the Inspiration Awards. Highly-respected, with almost 2,000 entrants every year, RoSPA award winners benefit from the wide-ranging rewards of improved sector reputation.”
