Since our inception in 2012, we have grown to become the UK’s leading ICP, focusing exclusively on power generation and energy projects. In 2015, we began offering EPC services for embedded power generation projects, expanding our scope to include civil works and balance of plant.

Richard Shearer
Managing Director
Co-founder of Green Frog Connect, Richard’s role centres on formulating and successfully implementing company policy, directing strategy towards profitable growth. Responsible for operational performance, he combines his role with that of Head of Construction, guaranteeing high standards, best practice and quality of delivery.
Richard is an active participant in the DNO workshop forums, helping to shape their Incentive on Connections Engagement plans which will improve the customer interface. His involvement ensures Green Frog Connect is at the cutting edge of energy reform for faster, more efficient and flexible distributed generation projects.
Tom Drake
Commercial Director
As co-founder of Green Frog Connect, Tom oversees all business development, sales and estimating activity. Tom’s focus is now on flexible generation and energy storage projects including battery, pumped hydro, power-to-gas and even gravitational storage.
Responsible for the future strategic direction of the company, he has spearheaded the move from grid connections for renewable energy projects into the construction of full power stations. Prior to starting the company in 2011, Tom held a range of roles within Power On Connections.
Rebecca Lewis
SHEQ Director
An IOSH Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner, in 2016 Rebecca led our successful application to become accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. With a strong ICP background, Rebecca has 15 years experience in the utilities and energy sector and her remit now extends across the entirety of our projects.
Maciej Milewicz
Head of Design
A chartered engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the designing, manufacturing and commissioning of high voltage distribution and generation, Maciej has been involved in projects as varied as Tower 52 in London, Sudmeadow in Gloucester and Carscreugh Wind Farm. With an in-depth knowledge of green energy, wind and solar.
David Bond
Head of Finance
A finance professional of nearly 30 years’ standing, David heads up the financial reporting, compliance and planning, and development of effective financial controls to improve business efficiency modelling for Green Frog Connect. Accountable for treasury management and budgetary control as well as contract cost control, he is also in charge of forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting. With wide-ranging experience across a number of sectors including FMCG, telecoms and manufacturing, David is also responsible for delivery of successful business partnering with operational colleagues.
Tony Edwards
Head of Civil Construction
Having spearheaded the successful delivery of the £21,000,000 Viridis 178 Gas Generation Scheme, Tony is now bringing his wider civil engineering and construction industry experience to bear on all types of projects that the company is involved in. His projects are as diverse as the Gloucester Gateway Motorway Services and the Green Frog Power 214 contract.
Adam Cusick
Head of Tendering
With over 15 years of experience in the UK Energy Sector, Adam utilises the knowledge gained from working on both demand and generation connections to lead our tendering department on bids for ICP and EPC projects. He provides our clients with the crucial collaboration between our commercial and technical departments, ensuring projects can be designed and costed accurately, whilst providing realistic programmes for stakeholders. Following a successful bid, he oversees the internal handover, ensuring a seamless transition from design to construction.
Farshad Forouzandeh
Head of Construction (Major Projects)
A highly skilled and qualified engineer, Farshad has been with Green Frog Connect for more than seven years in the project management team. He has more than a decade of ICP industry experience covering project design, delivery and testing across wind, solar, BESS and diesel. Prior to that, he spent three years as a research engineer following his Master’s studies in electrical and electronic engineering at the University of Bath.
