We are accredited by LRQA’s NERS as an Independent Connections Provider (ICP). This allows us to provide an alternative solution for connecting our clients to the electricity grid, often within a shorter timescale and reduced cost to that offered by the relevant DNO.
We hold accreditations in a wide range of categories including LV and HV jointing up to and including 132kV, design for schemes up to and including 132kV, as well as scopes covering civil works and cable laying.
We are fully accredited to carry out contestable Design and Construction works up to and including 132kV. Our range of scopes includes:
- Electrical design works (up to 132kV)
- Substation installation (up to 132kV)
- Cable jointing (up to 132kV)
- Cable laying (up to 132kV)
- Civil works

Our safety culture
We have a ‘safety first’ culture which is reinforced by our robust Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems. These ensure all projects adhere to strict guidelines and processes. We have an excellent track record in relation to Health and Safety issues and our management systems are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Our fifth annual Gold RoSPA Award reflects our commitment to reaching the highest standards of health and safety management. We began entering the RoSPA Awards in 2018 and were awarded a Silver, and have since built on this achievement to be awarded Gold each year from 2019 to 2023.
Our Head of SHEQ is Certified by IOSH.
Technical competence
We have robust systems in place for monitoring and supporting competency levels throughout the business.
The management team have a broad range of technical and safety related experience and qualifications including both Chartered and Incorporated Engineer Status with the IET, a range of electrical engineering qualifications including various engineering degrees, IOSH and NEBOSH Certificates. Our Head of Design is chartered with the IET.
