Our excellent and established relationships with the major suppliers of long lead time plant items mean we can offer excellent lead times on many of the key items which may affect project viability. Our innovative way of working aims to meet the clients desire for a full suite of electrical infrastructure services, including:
- Design of all aspects of high and low voltage electrical networks up to 132kV.
- Procure and install switchgear from 415v to 132kV including oil, air, SF6 and vacuum circuit breakers.
- Power transformers up to 132kV and rating of up to 160MVA, we would also design and install full transformer control and protection of these types of transformers.
- Distribution and generation transformers, supplied as free-standing units or with close coupled HV/LV switchgear.
- Cast resin transformers, where a non-oil cooled system is required.
- Attend factory acceptance tests (FAT’s) at the manufacturer’s premises prior to equipment dispatch as part of the quality and compliance process as required.
- We can offer the complete range of cabling solutions from control and auxiliary cables, low voltage power and high voltage power cabling.
- Joint and terminate all types of cable whether a new installation of XLPE cable or existing paper lead or PICAS cables. We have experience across a wide range of products and regularly install terminations and joints produced by Tyco, Pfisterer, Euromold, Coopers, Prysmian and 3M.
- Testing and commissioning to cover an extensive range of disciplines, including cable installations, transformers, switchgear, protection, earthing and underground fault location.
- Protection and control schemes: our engineers are able to design the optimum system to interface between all the components of an individual site.
- Containerised solutions: we can design, build and install bespoke container solutions for both the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) contestable works and the client’s electrical infrastructure.
