Green Frog Connect had a busy show at Solar & Storage Live at the NEC Birmingham. It was great to meet with both existing and potential new suppliers and clients. We’re now following up the many conversations we had about ICP, gas peaking and battery energy storage engineering and construction projects.
We packed a lot into our stand, with new and revised graphics showing off our ICP grid connections expertise, battery energy storage engineering & construction (E & C) and embedded gas generation E & C capabilities, and new involvements with EV grid infrastructure projects. Always popular with our visitors is the fast timelapse video of a gas peaking power plant site under construction.
We have already booked a larger stand space for 2020, in a strategic central hall position.
The press reported on a renewed grit and determination and vigour from the show attendees – possibly a reflection of what a net zero carbon society by 2050 will require. They reported on a growing sector maturity, that is only happy looking forwards.
National Grid ESO concluded a future energy scenario that would include
- Continued growth in embedded generation
- Continued growth in storage at both transmission & distribution levels
- Flexibility & coordination critical to manage and operate future systems operation
If you have any questions or queries about the event, or to discuss how we could help you you’re your connection projects, then please don’t hesitate to contact Mark Baker, Sales Manager, on 07802 322 750.
We’ll be back at the show in 2020!
